The Depression and Related Affective Disorders Association (DRADA) is an American organization associated with Johns Hopkins Medical School in Baltimore, Maryland. The organization offers programs such as peer support groups in the greater Baltimore/Washington area, facilitator training, and a speakers program.
Kay Redfield Jamison, author of many books on Manic Depression (an earlier name for Bipolar), including An Unquiet Mind, Touched by Fire, and Night Falls Fast, has been involved in this organization for more than ten years. She is coauthor with Dr. Goodwin on the textbook of Manic Depression.
